What have been some key milestones or challenges along the way?
Some key milestones this year would definitely be the Europa cup level, making some big strides each race, getting a little more and more comfortable. As well, getting closer to my goals within the Nor Am cup and hoping to keep progressing in there.

Receiving this money was a huge help allowing me to compete at the next level. truly made me feel supported by the community at AOA as well as the province.

This Funding allowed me to continue to train at such a high level and travel to these exclusive places where we could find the best training possible.

Personally, what motivates me to keep pursuing excellence in racing, I’m a competitive person and always trying to get better at the sport. It is constantly changing it keeps getting a little faster and faster, and that excites me, keeps changing my dreams.

5. Message to Donors
What would you say to the supporters who made this funding possible?
I want to personally thank all my supporters who made this possible. There’s no way I could do it without you guys. I’ll keep getting up every day, working hard to pursue my goals in the sport. Canada is a big country, but we’re small,l and ski racing and having the community of Ontario supporting me just makes it that more possible.
Why do you think programs like Bridging the Gap are important for athletes like you?
Programs like Bridge the Gap are so important for all athletes. The name is pretty self-explanatory. Having support financially takes the pressure off the athletes so they can just worry about their performance and get to the next level!
