Funds raised will help race clubs across the province, supporting both grassroots & high-performance programs

Collingwood, ON – Alpine Ontario Alpin is thrilled to announce a 50/50 cash draw to support race programs across Ontario – from grassroots to high-performance. The draw begins February 6, 2023, with a guaranteed prize of $2,000, and culminates with a Grand Prize Draw on March 17, 2023 (amount to be determined – unlimited growth potential). Get ‘First Tracks’ with Early Bird prizes of $500 each to be drawn on Friday, February 24, 2023 and Friday, March 10, 2023.
Purchasing tickets for the AOA 50/50 is a great way to support athletes, clubs, and coaches across Ontario in alpine, para alpine and ski cross disciplines.

All net proceeds from the draw will support each of the 35 clubs in 4 divisions from all over Ontario – from Thunder Bay, to Ottawa, to Sudbury, to Collingwood, and many other locations beyond. Each club, along with the Ontario Ski Team, Ontario Development Ski Team and Ontario Para-Alpine Ski Team, will receive a dedicated sales link, with 10% of their sales remaining with the club/team.
Additionally, proceeds will support the ongoing development of High Performance programs – whose goals are to prepare Ontario’s best Junior FIS ski racers with the broad range of skills and values needed to succeed on the international stage. The primary athletic goal is to graduate athletes to the Canadian Ski Team, with many athletes having also gone on to successful NCAA racing careers.
“Alpine Ontario is excited to launch this fundraising initiative where all Ontario clubs and members can benefit,” said Patrick Biggs, Executive Director, Alpine Ontario Alpin. “Working collaboratively as a province will help strengthen our programs at every level and build a thriving ski racing community for all.”
