Aug 9, 2021 – AOA Season Registration is not open yet.  ACA and AOA remain in discussions regarding registration and insurance for the 2021-2022 season to ensure that they are offering stability and value for our membership and the season ahead.

Registration with AOA is mandatory if you are participating in any AOA sanctioned activities through an AOA member club.  If you are, or will be, participating in club sanctioned events before to Sept 1, (dryland, camps, zoom workouts), now or in the near future, please click here and provide the completed form to your club who will keep on file.

Once AOA registration is open in early Sept, you will sign this waiver as a part of the registration process again along with Athlete Code of Conduct, Rowan’s Law and pay ACA and AOA fees.  For more information on fees, please click here.  If you have any questions, please reach out to rskinner@alpineontario.local.

We thank you for your patience as we work through discussions ensuring that all registrants are provided with all the materials required for a successful 2021-2022 season.

July 6. 2021 – ACA is still in the process of updating its 2021-22 registration package including updated information on the Commercial General Liability (CGL) policy.

The CGL program will be seamless from policy period to policy period, allowing those individuals who are currently undertaking sanctioned activities including on snow training, dryland etc. to continue their activities.  Registered participants in good standing with their club/PTSO/ACA from the 2020-2021 season will have their registration extended until which time, ACA provides the updated 2021-2022 registration package to the community.  Once this is released, all participants wishing to be a registered participant in the coming season (2021-2022) and sanctioned to participate in continuing or new activities, will have to register/ re-register in order for their participation to be valid.

Alpine Canada is working diligently to have all registration materials approved and distributed by mid-July.

We thank you for your patience as we work through ensuring that all registrants are provided with accurate and robust materials for the 2021-2022 season.

June 24, 2021 – All Commercial General Liability (CGL) insurance and Sport Accident Insurance Policy (SAIP) purchased during the 2020/2021 season will expire as of July 1st, 2021. Because of this all members participating in training or other club activities after June of this year must be renewed for the 2022 season to be covered by the CGL or SAIP insurances.  For more information on insurance, please click here.

ACA has yet to set their fees for the 2021-22 season but they do not anticipate changes in costs however waivers and registration requirements will be changing so AOA must delay registration at this time.  If you will be participating in an AOA sanctioned club event (ie dryland, camp, on-line workouts etc). after July 1, 2021 please contact rskinner@alpineontario.local immediately so your insurance coverage can be bridged until registration opens.

2021-22 FIS registration DEADLINE TO BE ON THE 1ST POINTS LIST: For FIS racers who wish to be on the first FIS points list, that is published July 1, you must submit to AOA all the completed forms by June 27, 2021.   Clubs please reach out to your FIS athletes if they will be racing or travelling in the next few months – 2nd FIS list is printed on August 3.  Printing deadlines for FIS lists are posted here.  For more on FIS registration click here including required forms that need to be printed, completed and submitted including a medical signed by a doctor, with payment once open on the AOA website.
