Performance Program Director
Craigleith Ski Club | Collingwood, Ontario
Do you believe great ski programs are built through a combination of athlete development, strong culture, meaningful relationships, and competitive excellence? Craigleith Ski Club is seeking a passionate and experienced Performance Program Director to help lead the next chapter of our Alpine Performance Programs. This is an opportunity to shape athlete development pathways, support coach growth, foster a high-performance culture, and help create an environment where athletes can thrive both on and off the hill. Working closely with the Alpine Program Manager, the successful candidate will support the continued evolution of Craigleith’s U10/U12 Racing, U14 OCup, U16 OCup, and NZ FIS Programs with a focus on athlete experience, long-term participation, and competitive progression. This full-time, year-round leadership role combines program planning, athlete development, coach collaboration, event coordination, and meaningful on-snow leadership throughout the winter season.

What You’ll Do
  • Support the leadership, planning, and delivery of Craigleith’s Alpine Performance Programs
  • Help create purposeful, athlete-centered training environments that balance long-term athlete development with competitive excellence
  • Support athlete progression and strong performance outcomes across all age groups and program levels
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Work collaboratively with coaches to support program consistency, athlete engagement, and high-quality training environments
  • Build strong relationships and communication pathways with athletes, families, coaches, and club leadership
  • Support retention by helping create positive, challenging, and rewarding athlete experiences
  • Drive recognition and celebration of athlete, team, and program achievements through communication and storytelling initiatives
  • Support races, camps, testing initiatives, and club-hosted alpine events
  • Coordinate evening programming including Thursday night NZ training and Friday night events
  • Travel with teams to training camps, races, and competitions as required
What We’re Looking For
  • Extensive knowledge of alpine skiing, ski racing, and athlete development pathways
  • Experience within a ski club, academy, race program, or high-performance sport environment
  • Coaching certifications and competitive coaching experience are strong assets
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative, professional, and team-oriented approach
  • Passion for building strong culture, athlete engagement, and high-performance training environments
  • Commitment to developing athletes both competitively and personally
