Ontario Ski Racing Awards Recap
Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Toronto Ski & Snowboard Show for the 2025–26 Ontario Ski Racing Awards. Athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, families, clubs and partners came together to celebrate a season of hard work and achievement across Ontario ski racing.
A special thank you to our MC, three-time Olympian Mike Janyk, for leading the evening. Thank you as well to Andrew Baker, Alpine Canada’s new President and CEO, for joining us so early in his role and helping present this year’s national award recipients. We also enjoyed hearing from ODST Head Coach Henry Yeigh and meeting the athletes of the Ontario Development Ski Team as they get ready for the season ahead.

Clarification: Mansfield Ski Club’s U12 team has won its bracket for the Mackenzie Cup trophy four years running, and its U10 program has consistently grown. The club’s race events are supported by a strong parent volunteer base that helps create the welcoming atmosphere Mansfield is known for. It’s a small club producing results and a race culture that rival much larger programs.
Ontario on the national stage
This was the first year that Ontario’s award recipients became the province’s nominees for Alpine Canada’s Awards of Excellence. Three of them went on to win national awards: Michaela Gosselin, Jasper Williams and Mansfield Ski Club. Congratulations to all three on being recognized both provincially and nationally.
Thank you
Every name on this year’s list came from someone in our community who took the time to write a nomination. Thank you to everyone who nominated, and to the awards committee for carefully reviewing every submission.
A special thanks to our award partners: Mackenzie Investments, Skiis & Biikes, Fasken, Normerica and Karbon. We also remember Anthony Pacione, Robert Shore and Sandy Proctor, whose names are on these awards and whose contributions to Ontario ski racing are still felt today.
Thank you to the Ski Council and the Toronto Ski & Snowboard Show for hosting us. And thank you to the coaches, officials, volunteers, families and clubs across the province who keep ski racing going in Ontario, most of whom never receive an award for it.
