COLLINGWOOD, ON (September 17th, 2021) – The Board of Directors of Alpine Ontario Alpin(AOA) are disappointed to share with the Ontario ski racing community that Dave Rivers has resigned from his position of Executive Director, effective September 24th.
“The board recognizes this disruptive change in AOA’s leadership is less than ideal, however we remain committed to finding an outstanding Executive Director who will lead and steer the organization forward, “said Linsey Ferguson, Alpine Ontario Board Chair. “We truly believe AOA brings an immense opportunity to the right candidate who will embrace the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead, and we look forward to securing a new Executive Director as soon as
possible.”
AOA’s transformational vision and aspirations remain unchanged as it seeks to deliver athletic excellence, heightened transparency, financial growth and accountability to our members. “AOA wishes to thank the ski racing community across Ontario for their support during this time of transition and will continue without disruption, the planning and preparation for the 2021-22 season ahead,” added Ferguson.
