Sasha Gollish, Alpine coach and coach facilitator, now competitive runner (&Toronto Pan Am Games Bronze Medalist) invites girls 
between the ages of 8 and 18 to the upcoming Fast and Female Champ Chat on October 14th at the University of Toronto Athletic Centre.
Girls quit sports at 6x the rate of boys in their early teens which means they are missing out on all the benefits of sport participation. To change that, Fast and Female was founded in 2005 by Canadian cross country skier and Olympic gold medalist Chandra Crawford.
Join us, on our mission to keep girls healthy, happy, and active in sports through their teens.
With Ambassadors from a variety of Track and Field events, from Middle Distance, to the Marathon, the vertical and horizontal jumps, plus the throws, we will be sure to have a lot of fun with a variety of events for the young girls. The Ambassadors are a mix of Olympians, ParaOlympians and The Varsity Blues! Fast and Female is an organization dedicated to empowering young women through sport. Did you know that girls are 6X more likely to drop out of sports than boys! This event is a celebration of all it is to be a young woman in sport.

Cost: $30 (includes Fast and Female T-shirt, water bottle, Fast and Female poster for autographs, and a chance to hang out with some Olympians and do some really fun activities)

About Fast and Furious Champ Chats
Girls age 8-18 meet inspiring role models from sport, develop physical literacy through a circuit of exercises suitable for all sport backgrounds, and make friends. They get to dance, do yoga and get autographs from great role models on poster that they take home to put up and remind them of their empowering experience.
