Start the season in style by joining senior AOA Coach Developers for an exciting on-snow professional development day of fun and education. Full licensing credits will be met for all attendees.

Invited: All ACA Member Coaches (Registration Max 40 coaches)
Coaches will participate in 3-4 inspiring 1-1.5 hr sessions
- Skills Combine – ACA Skills evaluation project update – Jacques Reid (AOA Lead Facilitator)
- Tech Talk (FUNdamentals) – Kip Harrington (AOA High-Performance Manager)
- Coach mental health/ positive & inclusive working environment (Katie Twible – Former US Ski Team & Ontario Team coach)

Take this opportunity as a young ski racer to see what your skill level is and get some guidance on what it will take to improve your fundamental skills. As a young skier, you will be taken through some of the elements of the Alpine Canada skills combine along with working on some drills that are essential to making you a better ski racer.

Invited: All AOA Registered U12/14 skiers (Registration Max 40 skiers)
Skiers will participate in a day of skiing with AOA coaching leaders and apply skills that reflect the current ACA Skills combine and AOA-based FUNdamentals.
AM:
- Intro to FUNdamentals
- Practicing FUNdamentals by doing drills
- Practicing the Skills-combine exercises
PM:
- Speiss drill (Evaluated)
- Outside ski turn drill (Evaluated)
- Skating course drill (Timed)
