Job Title: Part-Time Ski Coaches – SOD U8 to U18 and OCUP U14/U16 & Team Leads

Job Description: We are seeking passionate and experienced individuals to join our team as part-time ski coaches. As a ski coach at Beaver Valley Ski Club, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality instruction and guidance to skiers of various ages and skill levels. Whether you excel in teaching beginners the fundamentals of skiing or enjoy fine-tuning the techniques of advanced skiers, we have opportunities available for you.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct ski coaching, focusing on skill development and safety.

· Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to participants to enhance their ski racing abilities.

· Demonstrate proper skiing techniques and ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times.

· Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

· Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for all participants.

· Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches.

Requirements:

· Previous experience as a ski instructor or coach is preferred.

· Strong skiing ability and technical proficiency across various terrains and conditions.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Passion for teaching and mentoring others.

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

· ACA Entry Level Trained – Minimum

· Availability to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.
